Kripalu Yoga - Kripalu Yoga meets you with compassion right where you are!  Students at all levels of ability and practice, from novice to adept, will find a home in these classes blending inspiration, perspiration and relaxation.

Yoga For Men (The Men’s Class) - Yoga For Men translates into personal power ~ by waking up mindfulness, by sharing in healthy community with other men, and by building wicked upper body, leg and core strength. Men at every level of ability, from beginner to professional, cis or trans, gay or straight are welcome to join in community and practice. 

Meditation -  The art of relaxation is rooted in Meditation.  Studies show that many stress-aggravated conditions including anxiety, depression, heart disease, high blood pressure, sleep disorders and more may be helped by this simple 3-part practice.  There is research to suggest the existence of a ripple effect of well-being in the surrounding environment when groups of people meditate together — meaning, your participation matters.  These classes are all donation based in support of seva, sangha and scholarship. 

SMR for Pain Relief - Self Myofascial Release (SMR), or self massage, is the latest fitness trend utilizing Rolling techniques to relieve pain, increase range of motion and align the physical body with attention to breath, sensation and sweet relief.

Pranayama and Mantra - Deepening the breath through pranayama practices and activating the voice through chanting mantra both strengthen the diaphragm and abdominal muscles, responsible for the living breath in our bodies.    

Accessible Yoga - Accessible Yoga, according to Jeff’s teacher and program creator Jivana Heyman, is dedicated to sharing the benefits of Yoga with anyone who currently does not have access to these practices, and with communities that have been excluded or underserved.  Creating classes that are inclusive and expansive, Jeff’s Accessible Yoga classes have served people in Recovery from Substance Use, people living with Parkinson’s and HIV, the LGBTQ+ Community, the community of men, the community of elders, at the HEAL Center for youth traumatized by gun violence and more.  Advanced registration may be required.

Restorative Yoga - Make time to pause . . . This luxuriously slow, healing and interoceptive practice leads you through 4-5 deeply supported, and therefore restorative postures blending deep comfort, soft music and lovingly guided relaxation.  Reiki, or energy medicine, is layered throughout this class.

YogaDance - The dynamic experience of inner rhythm and outward movement is based on Kripalu’s free flow of yoga known as meditation-in-motion. Learn to relax and play with your unique and innate rhythms. Each class begins with a thorough floor warm-up, builds to an ecstatic climax and dissolves into peaceful relaxation. Dress comfortably, in layers, and be prepared to enjoy your body and breath. No previous dance or yoga experience needed.

WORKSHOPS

All movement classes can be customized to meet the needs of your group by extending the one hour class experience into a deeper 2-4 hour interactive workshop.  Continuing Education Credits for certified yoga teachers are available through Yoga Alliance.
